My research is concerned with understanding the neurophysiological basis of cognition and its evolution. The primitive nature of the olfactory system provides an interesting avenue to this topic. Most of my research involves recording human brain electrical activity as subjects detect or label odors. I also have strong interests in the analysis and visualization of brain activity.
